Join us for an exclusive private tour of Women & Freud, a new exhibition showcasing the enormous impact that women had on the life and work of Sigmund Freud. We’ll uncover the stories of his patients, such as Anna O, whose influence led to the formation of psychoanalysis, and explore the influence of other figures, including the writers Virginia Woolf, Melanie Klein and HD (Hilda Doolittle).
This Freud Museum show also features artists who have grappled with Freud’s legacy in their work, such as Louise Bourgeois and Sarah Lucas. Other highlights include unseen works by Paula Rego, a short film by Deborah Levy and Sarah Thorburn, and a chance to see the love letters between Freud and his wife Martha.
Venue: Freud Museum, London, NW3 5SX
